The Oklahoma City Chapter of FAO meets from September through November and January through May. The Tulsa Chapter meets monthly.

Oklahoma City:

January through May: Second Thursday, 7:00 pm at Oklahoma Contemporary (formerly City Arts), 3000 General Pershing Blvd, Oklahoma City

Tulsa: Second Tuesday, at 6:00 pm. 6:00 p.m., second Tuesdays at B-Sew-Inn, Farm Shopping Center, 51st & Sheridan, Tulsa

2013-14  Meeting Schedule, Oklahoma City chapter

The Oklahoma City Chapter’s 2012-2013 program schedule includes a great group of presenters: four had work in FIBERWORKS 2012, two will present pictures and tales of their recent experiences at Haystack and Penland Schools of Craft. We even get a ‘field trip’ to an artist’s studio and a look at the work of a quilt artist with a unique and vibrant style!

September 12 Paseo Original Gallery, 2920 Paseo. Tony Morton, gallery director, will share his ideas about how to approach a gallery to show your work and maintain a relationship with a gallery.

September 10 Sharing the Juror's Critiques of items not accepted into Fiberworks 2013
October 8 B-Sew Inn Product Tour - If you have ever wondered what B-Sew Inn has to offer, this is your opportunity to have the secrets revealed.
November 12 Weaving for use in surface design. Weavers Pat Brant, Sharyl Landis, Lyn Lucas and Jan Hawks will share some easy weaving techniques to include in your next surface design project
December 10 Books that inspire -- What books or magazines ignite your creative fires? Bring them to share and inspire others!
January 14 Crocheting Part 1 - Jan Hawks. If you loved Freeform Frenzy, Jan's award winning Fiberworks 2013 entry, or Kate Johnson's FiberWorks entry, or didn't get enough when Janet Hoeltzel demonstrated at FAO Tulsa last spring, then you will love this program.
