The Oklahoma City Chapter of FAO meets from September through May. The Tulsa Chapter meets monthly.

Oklahoma City:
October through May: Second Thursday, 7:00 pm at Oklahoma Contemporary (formerly City Arts), 3000 General Pershing Blvd, Oklahoma City
 
Tulsa: Second Tuesday, at 6:00 pm. 6:00 p.m., at B-Sew-Inn, Farm Shopping Center, 51st & Sheridan, Tulsa

2014-15  Meeting Schedule, Oklahoma City chapter

September 11 Noted tapestry weaver Janette Meetze will kick off the program year for the OKC Chapter. The meeting will be held at the Village Library, 10307 N. Pennsylvania
October 9 Paper/fiber artist Wendy Fox will discuss the joys and challenges of collaborative art projects. The meeting will be held at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center.
November 13 Sculptor Don Narcomey will describe his use of wood, metal, found objects and those found in nature to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
December 11 Members will show and tell about their recent projects.
January 8 Lisa Jean Allswede will describe her use of varying sewing machine tensions to create her novel thread paintings. She will also explain the Box Project in the Paseo District.
February 12 Have you crocheted a tube worm or some coral lately? We'll show you how with a lesson in hyperbolic crocheting. Critters produced will go to Tulsa (FAO's) Undersea Project, to be displayed at AHHA during FiberWorks 2015
March 12 Lyn Lucas and Julie Blackstone will describe their experiences at the Handweavers Guild of America Convergence 2014

September 9 The Tulsa September program will be presented by KaRon Barton-Pool, educator at B Sew Inn and fiber artist in her own right.
October 14 Janet Hoeltzel will lead you through a hands-on lesson in beginning calligraphy.
November 11 Sally Bachman, Jan Hawks, Sheryl Miller, Anne Solomon, and Jeanie Weber: Panel of FAO Artists Talk About Inspiration
December 9 Sue Kinsey: Calligraphy on Fabric
January 13 Sharyl Landis: Beading for Fiber Artists
February 10 Sue Moss Sullivan: Words of Wisdom from a Gallery Owner
